MEETING ALL YOUR NUTRITIONAL NEEDS

November 15 and February 8, 2009 Cost $135

This special one day class looks at the food you eat from a biochemical and from your personal healing needs. Get to know what your body needs in the way of proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins etc. and how best to acquire them at mealtime for you and your family.

With Dr. Qing Zhang, research specialist and instructor in the Chinese Materia Medica.


COURSE IN SMOKING CESSATION WITH EAR ACUPUNCTURE

January 18 and 25, 2009

This special weekend course will provide the practitioner with the resources needed to start a successful stop smoking program, or to further refine an existing program. Its holistic approach includes ear acupuncture, hypnotherapy, counseling and chi gung. It is offered to health care professionals, but it may also be audited by the public and especially those interested in breaking the smoking habit. It is taught by the staff of the S-T Natural Medicine Center headed by Joseph Starr and Dr. Diana Tong Li.


L-C NATURAL HEALTH CHI GUNG

1 day: November 30 and February 22, 2009 Cost $150

Chi Gung is a five thousand year-old Mind/Body art and science. The Chinese describe it as the way to harmonious balance with the Universe and to a long and happy life. Developed by Master Cui Lian Zhu, L-C Chi Gung uses the 12 meridians to energize the different organs of the body to treat various illnesses and create a high state of wellness.

Basic Reflexology Course

4 days: November 9, 16, 23, 30 - Cost $550

Learn the essential skills and knowledge of foot reflexology and the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine for relaxation and deep healing of mind, body and Spirit. The feet are our foundation and the one part of us in touch with reality that grounds and balances us. Feet reflect and effect our state of health. With gentle, intuitive touch, reflexology can support the balance of the musculo-skeletal system as well as organ function through the righting reflex.

L-C CHINESE ACUPRESSURE PROGRAM/TUINA

The L-C Acupressure Program is a 4 Certificate/Level Program for Relaxation, Pain Control, Enhanced Immunity, and Treatment of Common Illnesses. All levels may be taken separately and in any order. Levels1 and 2 lead to an Acupressure Technician Diploma.

Learn the ancient and scientific principles, methods of diagnosis and
treatments for boosting immunity, and treating diseases and disorders.

Neuromuscular Disorders, Heart Disease, and Depression, etc. Books and
materials will be available for sale on site.
