Mission Statement

 

Our Mission

1) To promote Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Natural Medicine education in the health care of the general public and promotion of scientific research.

2) To protect the public from harm by setting and maintaining the highest professional standards of practice

3) To seek legislative regulation of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in Nova Scotia

4) To play a conservative role in the licensure for Acupuncture, Doctor of TCM, and Doctor of Natural Medicine in Nova Scotia.

5) To serve as a bond and educational vehicle for practitioners, students of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Natural Medicine related health professions and those interested in the promotion of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Natural Medicine.

6) To conduct seminars and hold symposiums for the upgrading and teaching of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Natural Medicine professionals.
