Calvin is trainined in acupuncture, acupressure/tuina, moxabustion, auricular medicine, Japanese stone therapy (Atsuikuroishi), reflexology and ionized footbaths. He also teaches the classical Japanese martial art of Daito ryu aiki bujutsu, Chinese qi gong, auricular medicine and acupressure massage therapy.

Calvin is presently president of both the Acupressure Massage Therapy Association of Atlantic Canada and the Canadian Auricular Medicine and Ear Acupuncture Association and Director of Continuing Education for the Acupuncture and traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia.

Dr. Zhang graduated from Henan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Zhengzhou, China, with the degree of Medicine Science. Since then, she has been working in the Chinese medicine and Nutrition Science field for 20 years. She joined the CCANM in 2004, as senior instructor of Herbal medicine.
